Sinuosity visits Renaissance!

Students learned how to identify erosion on trails.  Working in groups, students sent representatives to identify whether the trail's major problem was mud, tread erosion, widening, or just fine.  As students grew in confidence, they participated in a simulation that allowed them the opportunity to practice the field work they did in the afternoon.  Students mapped troubled areas using their Nexus 7s.  The data will be used by the engineers to design a better trail system. It was a fun day!  We can't wait for the engineers to return to share the results from our data collecting.

Cady Hill Field Trip

Students used their Nexus 7 devices to capture elements of Cady Hill that they liked, and would hope to someday see at Hard'ack/Aldis Hill.  When we debriefed our field trip, many students noted that the trails were well marked, and maintained.  We hope to help Sinuosity design high quality trails.
